* Our dog named Princess died very recently also. She was half and half (doberman og askal).
Nindot kaayo iyang lawas, she is lean and sexy! Namatay kay old na siya. My sister cannot
stop crying kay buotan man to si Princess. Lambing kaayo, very good guard dog. Wala gyud
kapataka og suod sa among gate kay bark og sog kaayo si Princess. oh well, she is
in dog heaven now with her Mommy Faith.
We had a dog kuyog kuyog gyud na sa lakaw sa sakyanan.. One day, ning ambak siya sa bintana then wala na makit e sa akong bother.. Ako nga ga jeep ra goin to school and gidala nako ang leash kay basi makit an nako on the way sa school.. Nakit an gyud nako siya naa sa kilid sa Petron highway but unfortunately patay na..The gas boy said nga nabanggaan daw siya og jeep then ning ad2 pa sa kilid then ila daw gihapo hapo then take a deep breathe and died..
Sad kaayo.. Then ning hunong ko then called my brother to pick up our dead dog para naa proper burial..

it's ironic that this topic talks about death. for me eventough my dog didn't die but was sick with parvo virus when she was 5 months. i cried a lot seeing her die slowly...it was christmas time also and during christmas eve she was miraculously well!![]()

wow so she survived the parvo attack? What treatments did you give her?Originally Posted by Macbethkid920
we never treated her with medicines. because it was already late and also it would cost us like 15000 for 5 days of treatment which is very expensive plus the vet in the clinic told us it would only have 10% chance to live. so i called my vet which is my family friend and told me to try to give the dog Virgin Coconut oil+milk+sugar mixed and force feed it with a syringe or dropper so that the dog would'nt be dehydrated because she said that dogs with parvo virus dies because of dehydration and etc. so we fed the dog for about 3 days and miraculously the dog was cured..whew! what a relief.Originally Posted by franzrebs
i once had a japanese spitz years ago... the day he passed on was one of the saddest days in my life, after all i lost a loved one. dili to mahimutang kung wala pa ko sa balay, magsigi lang ug hulat sa gate until i return home. i left the office with a very heavy heart... pag abot nako sa balay he was already buried. the best gyud na pet ang dog. un-questioned ang ilang loyalty sa ilang owner(s). a dog is a friend for life.
I guess it's simply normal to mourn (even cry) when your dog dies. It has been a part of your life for years then suddenly his gone! This is true for all ages...so don't be ashamed to cry!![]()
