Was God ignorant of what science taught that it is not the SUN that revolves around the planets?
This is a verse [although theologians made their extreme efforts to distort this story] showing the views of the ancient time that the sun is revolving around the earth; and during those time, any dissenting opinion [like Copernicus, Galileo, etc] may be considered as treason [for defying the extablished authority of the Church].

No Sir God is not ignorant.

The bible also mentions the rising and the setting of the sun. Like us we too use "phenomenal" languages--i.e., the language used to express phenomena as man sees them.

Even our science teachers use these language. Why does no one correct them of scientific errors?

Thanks Lighthouse, indeed if you edit the word of GOD you can actually twist it and show conflicts. That is the reason why we need to read it and take it in full context.

It only shows the defect in your reading comprehension. Read and study it study it again using the best of your "god-given" intelligence. Don't just see it with your eyes; or I may suggest you to pray the hardest prayer before you aspire to understand those text - maybe it will help your "divine mind".

Hahaha... your science teacher didn't teach you those things? diin man diay ka nag-escuela? ay ko'g ingna sa Harvard, Ateneo, UP or UST? These things were extensively taught in Catholic Universities. Ayaw nala'g tinonto anang mga bersiculo ninyong cruman do... estudyohi na'g maayo unya basahag balik.

Sir i have read the verses and i dont see any contradictions. As a matter of fact they supplement each other.

Kindly pinpoint my mistakes or the alleged contradictions? If its not a burden on your part.

what is being taught in Catholic Universities Sir? Usage of phenomenal language?

My science teachers taught me how to use words like rising and setting of the sun although we know that the sun do not rise and fall. Same logic applies on your question about the sun, the one you posted in the previous page.

Sir i posted the verse already. I dont see any conflict. But if you see any contradictions can you kindly pls pinpoint it. The context suggests that the verses are correct.

In Matt- Joseph was worried, he doesnt want to marry Mary because he found out that she was pregnant, so an angel appeared to him in a dream giving him an assurance that that w/c is inside of Mary's womb was the saviour of the world.

In luke-- An angel appeared to Mary announcing a good news. Revealed to her a message from God that she is going to be the chosen vessel for the savior of the world.

I dont see any conflict in those two verses Sir. Same thing with the rest.
