thanks much raul. sounds like the phenomenal striker RAUL...ü if they can get over with their fragile defense, they would be the toughest team to beat in europe... just cant imagine their line-up. Ronaldo, Owen, Morientes, Zidane, Beckham, Figo, Carlos, Guti...etc. but there's a slight problem with teams having several star-players... teamwork... hope they can work it out also.

i did see the first half. i've seen how ROMA scored 2 goals against REAL.

since high school... not really a player though i could kick some balls.hehe in college, i liked AJAX till the team went wrong... they were one of the finest then... till i've seen RONALDO, RIVALDO, CARLOS-member of the brazil elite football squad-however bowed down to much taller and talented French team. so now i find myself a fan of the sensational real madrid team... how bout your story fingolfin? are you a footballer?

remember the amiable Vicente Del Bosque? He who was sacked from Real Madrid last year despite winning two Spanish and two European titles in three years, his now with the Turkish club Besiktas....

I pity that guy, he was dump for that no good Quiroz,.,tsktsktsk.,I was pretty sure they could have won at least 1 silverware with him on the helm.......twas a horrible gamble by club president Perez.......

i've been a fan of football since elementary, 26 yrs. old na ko karon, me and my buds are member of USJR's elementary varsity, we beat CIS due to forfeit, hehehe. I am a solid Madrid fan, been a fan even when they don't have much star players.

football is a popular sport in silliman so i guess i have to love it also.ü i used to love AJAX coz i just liked their spirit and intensity towards the game. during the time of kluivert, overmars... and i forgot na gani some of their strong players... mga bag-o na man gud karon ang mga players sa AJAX. wa na sila ayo. i shifted to real madrid (when gani to?hmm... i forgot!hehe) coz Raul and Morientes are a tremendous duo... then came Carlos, Figo, Beckham, then Zidane, Owen... frankly, i don't like Figo. don't care if you strongly disagree.hehehe

and by the way, i'm 25 turning 26 of the second quarter of next year.hehe

Arsenalthey maybe masters in England but their European record is trully forgettable.......maayo lang na cla ila homeground, pero paduwa away from home, di ba mokorog na ila itlog..........

by the way im older by your guys diay.....im 33 and I played my football at USP in Lahug.....I wasnt able to make the varsity team, because I was afraid to try it out, one my greatest regret to date, but I was lucky to be included in our Intramurals lineup, during my junior and senior years......My highschool buddies were all football players, so every afternoon we played football. I even introduced it to my neighbors and then on we played football at UP almost everyday....I still remember those days when we were recruited by the USJR chapter of the PolSci organization in their sportsfest held at UP.We easily beat U.P. and we massacred USC..The USC game was not even finished because it was very lopsided in our favor, it was fun how we toyed with their players.....In the championship game it was decided that it will be a penalty shootout, which I strongly objected because im very sure the crown is ours in just 90 minutes, whereas in a shootout anything can happen...but the chapter president did not listen to me and I was honored to kick first which sadly i missed at the side and we lost it 4-2, I was mad but what can i do, if only he listened to me........
