what about the title eliminator bout he fought? remember the Medina guy which at that time was #2 contender for WBO?that guy was undefeated as pro & amateur until Boom2x beat him, the guys got rock solid chin though Boom2x beat him on points...

i think what Boom2x need is a better head movement ala MP, better footwork, utilize jab to set up his powerful right hand & always cover his chin with both his hands cause his opponents know already he has a GLASSY chin....

i bet Abe Concepcion would knock Boom2x out using his left stiff jab

nah.. if not for the first fluke KO he had, he would have lost that fight on points.. altough i agree wid you that boom2 rily needs to improve his head and lateral movements because of his glass chin..

Sorry guys but I agree boom boom at this stage is not promising at all! Remember before manny got trained by Roach Manny has already the speed, power and combination Roach just perfected it. But for Boom Boom yes we need to encourage him but to tell you the truth ALA has been teaching this guy good excellent boxing lessons even at the corner Villamor was screaming at him use the jab and throw multiple combinations but what did boom boom do he duck down and prayed a hail Mary to hit squarely at the abdomen for a knockout and worst thing guys he thought he really did a good gi hagad dayon niya si ponce deleon which we all know he will be eaten alive. Well my advise to boom boom put yourself to the ground first please dont ever think you will be the next Manny coz your so far far away and please think and follow the advise of your trainer all you need to do is to execute your jab, combinations and please be quick, we all know you have the power but please pag kat on sa imong sparring mater si Z Gorres coz for me he is the best boxer in the Philippines lets just hope the dream increases his punching power because if he does no one can ever beat him in the world sa iyan lang current na timbang!
