hello, sir. my name is Emma. i've been asked by my boyfriend to communicate with your group. he was very surprised that there's an international wing chun school in cebu. he has been studying practical wing chun in hong kong for 3 years. due to the recent incident in manila that fueled hatred to filipinas here in hong kong, i am forced to go back to the philippines... good thing i found this site and your webpage. he checked it out and he believes that your group is authentic (he actually talked to his sifu about this already and he came home with a smile). at least, my worry of him getting bored in a laid-back country will be put to rest. we are so thankful that you exist. he's crazy about wing chun and he knows there are many schools who claim lineages but turned out to be a total falsification. he already lost a lot of money with those kind of schools. he's very cautious now. upon doing some background check of your sifu and your school, he wonders if he can learn a new system besides the Yip Man. he also wonders if it would be alright for him to join for about 6 months only because he'll be back to the states after that.

Hello Emma! We are very, very delighted that you posted this message. Finally, someone who has some real knowledge about the international wing chun scenario!!! Practical Wing Chun is under Sifu Wan Kam Leung, right? My Si-Fu, Grandmaster Iadarola, speaks highly of him. I think we passed the school while we were in Mongkok. I'm glad that he verified our background through our webpage and spoke to his Sifu about it. That just goes to show what we have been trying to explain all along---how important it is to get the right teacher and learn under an authentic lineage. There are a LOT of fakes out there, that is true. Yes we can definitely train him in other systems besides Ip Man. We will have to put him under a different program, probably, because of his previous training. Please tell him that we have the Fukien Wing Chun Bak Hok System, The Tang Family System (which I know is very sought after even in Hong Kong and China) directly under the lineage of GM Tang Yik, the Yuen Kay San system, Gulo Village Wing Chun and 2 other systems. If he wants to check our lineages further, everything is on the website and he can even go directly to the Sifus in Hongkong. They all know my teacher and my Sigungs. Six months is okay; as I've said we can put him under a special program as he is more advanced and will not be staying very long.
