Why do bands usually range between teens and mid 20's?

question....is being in a band for so long/ with the same guys an advantage or not?

cuz i saw a bit of the metalica dvd(making of saint anger), they have a band therapist for christ sake....being who they are...grabe ilang ego....and its really obvious when theyre bumping heads and non of them wants to bend.

does this really happen to bands?

a very interesting question markuz...

i guess it depends. naay advantage naa puy disadvantage just like everything else. naay mga musikero nga mas ganahan mo session pirme. ang usual nga advantage kung mo tukar ka with other musicians is that there is fast growth as a musician and you become more productive kay ma expose ka ug daghan nga genre sa music. ang disadvantage kay issues on time management tingali ug naay mga banda nga imong gitukaran nga posible mabiyaan nimo and they cannot grow because of you. just a couple of disadvantages and advantages that i can think of.

i cant say anything about playing with the same bandmates kay naka-jam man gud ko ug uban pang banda... maybe this insight would help - lennon once said when he left The Beatles nga mura ra kuno na ug tennis nga pila ka years you're playing with the same opponent, you'll get tired of it and you will eventually look for other players to play with para ma enhance nimo imong skills. i guess that's what i can say.

as to the ego issues, i guess that's a personal matter as all of us naay ego. i think metallica's egos have not so much to do with the band - nidako lang siya because of the circumstance and not because of the band. just my opinion. thanks markuz.
