brah, iv'e heard them performed in outpost several times. no question they are a good musician and showmanship but i don't think they have there own riffs. im a critic and i know how music runs in cebu music scene for 8 years. i have seen/hear bands performd live and shits! but you see cebuano's are so 'trendy' and i know u guys notice the same common riffs inspired from "URBANDUB & FASTPITCH". i know pipol seens this prob from our newbies "pretending to be rockstar effect" im not reffering to melophobic but to this POSSERS who are killing the scene softly! this bands proclaimed they play there own music but hear there every inch of the sound " I HEAR! CRYBABIES & POOR FACES" is this your music? or your fashion for your music.

first of all, this post defeats your first post on this thread. i thought your new to this scene? then how come you say you know how cebu music scene runs? for 8 years pa jud!! haha.

secondly, if you have heard and seen melophobic play, then why do you ask "unsa musick ani brah?" on your first post..??

now this is the real definition of a musician. be true to yourself and be proud. be it metal, punk, emo, alternative, blues, jazz or whatever. just play it man. i know many people call me poser but that doesn't stop me from being myself and playing my music.

and i know that melophobic is not an excemption. i've been with these guys for a long time. and believe me, name calling is not an issue to them. call them what you want, these guys will never stop playing music.

The sad part pa jud ngari sa atong music scene is that kita kita r sd ang mgunay ug daotay..
People tend to limit they're basis according to what they've heard or saw on the radios and tv's..

Mann, everyone of us has influences right? If your into music, bisag unsaon nmo ug bali2 imong styl, your fellow musician will eventually be able to see what's in your roots and I dont think that's a problem man sad siguro if mkita sa tao diin gikan imong music, every person is unique and so as his music! D na nimo machange ang History bai, that's for sure! All you can do is to add up!

Hehehe Dude if you happen to compare Cebu Bands to "Urbandub and Faspitch" lang, murag daghan p kaayo ka dapat i.explore bai if mao ra na nga banda imong basihanan sa maayo nga music.. Just IMHO! Im not against those bands, im actually a fan of them, well a big fan in that case! Pero the fact nga your tellin us some riffs of a certain band are inspired from URBADUB and FASTPITCH (With the "T" pa jud)? I gues you'll have to do a lil bit of your homework buddy! Muagree p siguro ko nimo if you happen to say nga ilang riffs murag sa "Bullet for my Valentine" coz actually, that's one of thier influences! You see, that's the big problem there, puro raman gud sikat atong nhibaw.an, kung unsa ra ang naa sa TV or Radio.. Thats so SAD and so BAD!
Goin to every gigs that you know doesnt make u a damn CRITIQUE! It's knowing the History of music and how it grows every sec.!

Just get yourself a guitar or whatever instrument you play, and form a band.. Let everyone see how good you are with your music and maybe you can do yourself a favor! "CRITIQUE" on your own damn MUSIC nalang siguro oyyyy... That would eventually make you a better musician pa! Im soo very much sure of that!
