any substantial reasons why you guys prefer something else out of the wdiely used bible and the grand daddy of all .
Because some bible versions are "Paraphrase Version" its been translated by the interpretations of the translator not with the real meaning of it. Because even jot or tittle must not be removed in the bible. "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Matthew 5:18.

i dont need to make this longer because i cant ave you nor you cant save me and myself if the case is who is having the real religion and what kind faith we are instilling in our hearts .

This is true, no man can save others but only God can save and by His words we will be saved.

    Peace!

Faith is defined by meriam webster as "firm belief in something for which there is no proof (2) : complete trust." As such no enough proof that one can quote from the Bible nor a scientific proof even more a philosophical theory could provide a clear and distinct rational postulation. As the topic was openned "It is supposed to be a personal experience." and we should not forget that. In the Christian Tradition, it is your resposibility to your personal to answer how you have lived your life and it's non of our business unless you and I are part of the same congregation or community who takes care of everyone's spiritual welfare which inturn is a religion.

Having a proof for your faith is tantamount of saying that you "know" your object of faith, "God" but who does know God? That is the reason why we use the term "Faith" becuase none of us know God. In the first place, God can't be God if a human being knows him for the reason that he would be limited to the knowledge of that human being.

The biggest challenge for now is to live by our faith. To do what our faith is telling us. I must admit I haven't that faithful to my faith. But everyday I am at least trying to live out my faith. Each and everytime I fall I have always tried to stand up. Though it might taken a lot of time to do it but at least I have tried.

But the bible has the meaning of FAITH:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
    Hebrews 11:1-3.

There's already a faith that God want us to have, all we do is to accept it.
    Peace!
