Texting doesn't really make one dull when it comes to spelling... It really depends upon the person... If he is really bad at spelling and he won't try to help himself improve in that area, then his situation will get worst.
If you're really concious about your spelling, then during exchanging messages through txt use the right spelling at all times!
Ilagay lang sa tamang gamit ang text message spelling. There is a growing number of people who don't respect this.
The purpose of text message spelling is to squeeze in information in a small space of one message which on average may contain from 150 to 200 characters . But if one uses text message spelling in a post box like this (maximum limit is 20,000 characters), there is no point to use text message spelling, is there?
I firmly believe you can tell a lot of a person based on what s/he posts and how s/he posts his/her own thoughts. No matter if English, Filipino or Bisaya is used-- as long as the words are spelled out clearly presents the individual having intelligence, industry, patience, and courtesy for other people who will read the messages.
