there is a big diff between annulment and divorce... in annulment its as if the marriage was invalid from the very beginning in divorce the marriage is existing...

of course lain lain ug effect... like for example si kris aquino nag-ask sya fro nullity of marriage nila ni james yap and with it nag ask sad siya na ang ila anak kay mahimong cojuanco aquino na kay dili na siya mgadala sa name sa iya papa kay dili man siya legit... ka gets ka..

in divorce bisan mag divorce pa mo legit inyo anak.. kung annulment kung due to psychologicl incapcity legit other grouds kay illegit na inyo mga anak..

yes marriage is a commitment... pero dili man tingali tanang taw kay musulod ana kay kahibaw sila naa divorce mag live na lang sila mas barato pa...

for those who dont want it you dont have to avail it but dont held hostage those people who badly need it..

and I agree sd, am just citing some points n kung pwd m.klaro ang grounds for annulment para d n hatagan ug daghan n interpretation d n kaau gasto,nganong d n mn lng kani ang gamiton...

but f d gusto/d pwd mahilabtan ang contents sa annulment n law, e di legal separation n lng, and this time klarohon unsa jd ang contents sa legal separation...

mas pabor siya sa legal separation pero ning ingon sad siya nga legal separation but "they should be allowed to remarry".. so in short divorce japun...

divorce is acceptable but of course must strictly check on the grounds. if u r not really happy on your marriage the why would you suffer a lot and waste a valuable time on your life? you have the right to live your life to the fullest as long as you are not contributing any problem. marriage only work if the 2 of you decides to do so but if the other does not then what is there to continue. we r very strict on divore but many filipinos does not even know the true essence in marriage and of raising a family. =)
