yes it is 10 episodes cant cover the whole book but instead they summarize them and so that it can fit to the allocated time...

HBO series = summarized part
BOOK = detailed part

HB0 added and didnt show some parts/scenes which is in the book.

Murag paspas ra sa ako ang show, pero understandable man sad kay 10 episodes ra. I'm looking forward to the crowning of Viserys hehe.

@Ekoydakoykoy: As cooldude75ph, it was just a reminder. No one's accusing anyone of anything here.

Anyway, I still haven't seen Episode 3. But I'm almost done reading the book. Yes, there are a lot of differences in the book and in the TV series, but that is to be expected. So far, IMHO, I think the series does the book justice.
