its their marketing strategy and they were not forcing you, in fairness.

    its called "non-traditional"

It is non-traditional all right ...they would call you up and tell you that they want to meet you at one of the malls and when you get there it turns out to be an ambush orientation. I am starting to dread meeting any of my acquaintances at any mall or restaurant. OR they would treat you to lunch or dinner and then coax you to join them. The latter is worse since you already ate their food and they have the tendency to use that as an argument. They also target people who are, most of the time, in need of money and that is students. They even offer you installment plans to make it "easier" for you to join them . They are non-traditional all right :P

I attended one of Legacy's orientation a couple of weeks ago. It was at one of the Orange Brutus branches. The speaker wore flashy clothes with fancy bracelets and a shiny Rolex. He pulled out a very expensive laptop and hooked it up with an equally expensive LCD projector. He then started "sharing" stories about how he is earning 20 thousand pesos per week and all. I would have been impressed if not only for one thing. Of all those things that he claimed and talked about, he did not even buy the 5 of us attending anything to eat, bisan man lang french fries. Pero siya nihurot ug duha ka burger, with shakes and a large coke pa. Na pasmo na lang hinuon ko . Maayo kaayo mag hinambog nga dako kaayo kita pero dili ka libre bisan tag 20 nga fries. Kung ikaw sa ako position, would you really believe him nga ga earn siya 20 thousand per week?Â*

He is a student in one of the prominent universities here in Cebu. Id rather not mention names so that he will not be put to shame, hehehe! The business plan sounded okay like all the other companies but I just cant imagine myself selling shoes and bags. I rarely buy shoes and bags. That was my experience, maybe others had good ones but they sure dont impress me.

Sounds very bad watcher. That's his strategy to entice you. Probably kulang ang gipadala nga allowance. Kapalit laptop pero dili kapalit burger
