just saw a documentary about higgs sa national geographic... and after watching it, it wasnt "awe" that i felt, it was fear. imho we humans are getting too smart, maybe for our own good. dili ko physicist and my knowledge of science can be compared to a monkey trying to learn how to type, pero i can't help feel nervous that in mankind's desperate search for answers, we maybe slowly stepping on boundaries that aren't supposed to be crossed. i can't help think about conspiracy theories and doomsday scenarios after watching the documentary (labi na karon nga hapit na 12/21/2012). hay unta its only the alcohol talking, but unta naay maka explain nga "there's nothing to worry about", the search is 110% safe, and we are not on the path to extinction... and if that july 2012 latest finding of a higgs-like boson infact really was the higgs, what's next on the agenda?

Yes, there is such a thing as the "God Particle" but it's just a nickname given to the Higgs-Boson particle, and it has already been found.
