    @galadriel ... welcome to the thread and thanks for the recipe....na ako mag sige na lang jud ko luto (never cooked before ...lately lang jud ko ni sulod sa kitchen)...karon i just love cooking...naa ko mga imbento nga recipe...adto lang nako sa pikas thread i-post....

    Maple-Glazed Ham Skillet

    INGREDIENTS:

    1 cup long grain rice or 2 cups dried medium noodles
    1 can (15-1/4 oz.) Pineapple Tidbits In Its Own Juice
    1/4 cup maple-flavored syrup
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 can (15-1/4 oz.) Green Lima Beans, drained
    8 oz. cooked ham or smoked turkey, cut into bite-size strips


    HOW TO PREPARE:

    1. Cook rice or noodles according to package directions.

    2. Drain pineapple, reserving 2 tablespoons juice. Stir together reserved pineapple juice, maple syrup and cornstarch in large skillet. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly; cook and stir 2 minutes.

    3. Stir in beans, ham and pineaple. Heat through. Serve over rice or noodles.



    VARIATION: [i]Substitute 1 can (15 oz.) Mandarin Oranges in Light Syrup for the pineapple and reserved juice.

    @ hera_82: For those people who don't like pineapple or fruits in their main dish (like myself hehe) can we just use the juice in the can and use the fruit in a dessert?

    ^^parehas ta bro...sa una di ko nahan apilon fruits sa sud-an ...naka tilaw bitaw ko grilled chicken nga gi tungtungan ug brocolli florets, diced mango...nya pina lanay nga swiss cheese...na usab akong opinion! ha ha ha

    aaahhhhhh!!! PASTA! i love pasta. I would say, my fav is the Spag Marinara. with all the seafood available in it. reminds me so much of Paparazzi(shang).
