    To our beloved customers,

    We appreciate an honest feedback from our customers.

    We are happy that in a short period of time, Bubbles has been recognized and compared to sago. Zagu has been 10 years in the industry. There is no doubt that most of you like zagu, since they already conquer the bubble shake industry for a decade of experiments and good market. But prior to that, Orbitz “late Rico Yan” business already existed as a local bubble shake distributor.

    We are a new team (taga Cebu jud) composed of masters in different field of work. Just like others posted in this thread, our food consultant, Master in Chemical Engineer came from a very popular beverage drink in Cebu, our operation manager, a RN, with Master in Human Admin, and even our president is a licensed Environmental Officer.

    Our mission/vision focuses on the quality and quantity of our products especially in health. Since, we are in beverage business; we are very stringent on the taste and quality of our products before selling to market at affordable price.

    Our products are pattern in US sizes of Bubbles Shakes. We cater on 12oz and 16oz only. However, most customers are asking the content of our product. As per our analysis.

    Our body recommend limits about 2000 calories on daily diet, depends on age/activities/physical appearance. An average on Bubble (sago) shake is about 240 calories in a 12 oz cup with no fat and 55 grams of carbohydrates, it like a mocha chino or a full fat latte with two sugars. Each tapioca pearl contains 6-10 calories. When you factor in the brown sugar, flavors, and other stuff, calories content is increase.

    The more sugar/flavor you put, the tastier, the more calories intake. That is why we lower the amount of tapioca pearls for health concerns.

    Additional information to know your BMI (Body Mass Index)

    The Harris-Benedict Equation for calculating calorie needs.

    Use the appropriate formula for men or women..

    Men: BMR = 66 + (13.7 x W) + (5 x H) - (6.8 x Age) = Daily calories required
    Women: BMR = 665 + (9.6 x W) + (1.8 x H) - (4.7 x Age) = Daily calories needs

    Where:

    W = weight in Kgs Convert body weight here!
    H = Height in cms ( 1 foot = 12 inches, 1 inch = 2.54 cms)
    Age = Years

    An example for a 30 year old women weighing 80 (176 pounds) Kgs and 5 foot 6 inches tall would be..

    665 + (9.6 x 80) + (1.8 x 168) - (4.7 x 30)
    665 + 768 + 302 - 141 = 1594 calories per day!

    The above equation calculates calorie needs for the BMR, you still need to work out calorie requirements for the day including any activities.

    Multiply your BMR by an activity factor which more closely suits your lifestyle
    • Sedentary - none or very little exercise = BMR X 1.2
    • Light activity for average of 2 days/week = BMR X 1.375
    • Moderate activity level exercising 4 days/week = BMR X 1.5
    • High activity levels exercise & sports more than 6 days/week = BMR X 1.7
    • Higher activity levels = up to 2 x BMR

    We are encouraging customers to give us feedback/comments inorder to improve our services. Thank you for patronizing our products.
