Para nako I really believe Manny can beat Floyd. The fight can either go by K.O or T.K.O. It won't even last 12 rounds. Why?

1. Floyd has never faced someone like Manny before. Kinsa may nakontra ni Floyd nga pareha or halos pareha ka paspas ni Manny? He won't even face Mosley. If they compare Manny to Judah, oh please... Manny has got the best hand speed the world of boxing has ever seen. Floyd has never faced something like that before. Cotto underestimated it that's why he lost. Same with DLH, Diaz, and Hatton. They didn't expect hand speed like that because it is almost unheard of in boxing before. Manny's punches can hit a bobing-weaving head with accuracy.

2. I think Floyd's defense wouldn't fare very good against southpaws. Much more against the greatest southpaw ever! His defense is to duck to his right or do the shoulder roll also to his right. I don't think doing that is a good idea against Manny. Manny can position himself at an awkward angle to the opponent's left side and fire punches from there. Or he can stay in front of the opponent but still at a good fighting stance and trade punches with a 1:3 punch ratio. Also one thing about southpaws is that it's always hard to see their punches. Aside from Manny's speed, this is a proven fact in boxing history. From an orthodox standpoint, southpaw punches can come from awkward angles. Look at how Hatton got hammered by that left from Manny on the 2nd round. Notice where Hatton's eyes were focused before that punch landed. Also the left that knocked Cotto on the 4th round, and also those left uppercuts that hit him.

Maybe Floyd can handle Manny's speed, we don't know yet. But there's a big chance that he won't.

3. I trust Roach to come up with a good game plan. Or he probably has one already kay sauna pa man ni siya gapanghagit kang Floyd. I trust Roach has already spotted Floyd's weakness which I must say is quiet difficult to spot. But if Roach is that confident to let Manny fight Floyd then he must know.

Meanwhile Floyd, from one of his interviews, admitted that he doesn't like studying tapes of his opponents, because according to him, they can always change styles during fights. In contrast, Roach studies habits not mistakes. Mistakes can be corrected each fight. Habits take time to be overcome.

4. Floyd is not an active counter-puncher like Marquez. Floyd is very good at defense and potshots but unlike Marquez and Pacquiao who swiftly react to an attack with a counter-attack. When attacked, Floyd hides, ducks, and waits. When the time is right and he sees his opponent letting off his guard then he strikes. While he's waiting, he's ducking and hiding behind his shoulder. I don't think that would work against Manny. Again Manny's hand speed will find your head wherever you hide it.

5. I believe Floyd doesn't have a strong chin. I've seen it against Hatton and even DLH. If Manny can hit him with a clear power-shot with more than a minute left for that round then the fight is over.

6. He can't knock Manny down. He just can't. Manny can take his punches all 12 rounds and not get knocked down. Prove me wrong.

To be fair, Floyd has got some arsenal of defense and offense of his own. He can use his length (height advantage) and speed. He can run around all night and let Manny catch him. He can throw potshots at Manny all night and never engaging. That will be one challenge I want to see Manny overcome.

This is definitely all about Floyd's ego. He does not have a belt at the welterweight class, he is the no.2-3 p4p fighter, Pac is the champion, holds a welterweight belt and is the no. 1 p4p, who do you think should call out who? Pac has already said he will fight anyone at 147 and below, I think that includes you PBF. You don't need Pac to massage your ego to fight him.

Pac is under contract and respects his promoter to fix his fights. If PBF is his own promoter, all he has to do is talk to Arum and make the fight. Like Arum said, you don't negotiate thru the newspapers/media.

I also recall Brian Kenny asking PBF if he wants to fight Mosley, Pacquiao, etc.. and he responds with the usual BS about boxing is a business and they should talk to Leonard E. and his advisors. Which one is it? All you have to do is shut up and you or your people talk to Arum to get the fight done. But wait, Mayweather Promotions is not really a licensed promotions company that is why Golden Boy Promotions is promoting him and will likely begin talks with Top Rank.
