For someone to come out and sue Dignos - to me, that's a very stupid move specially if there was no particular name mentioned.
And more so for someone to hold a press conference on tv showing the "supposedly" maligned victims and their spouses. The person who suggested this should be hanged.
Without the libel case and press conference, there were only a handful of people who knew about this story. After the press conference on tv- it became a free-for-all.

Everyone including all radio commentators are now at liberty to discuss this and the Ouano family have themselves to blame. And Dignos should thank the 2 Ouanos cause he became a celebrity overnight.

My personal view on it is - for someone who is supposedly not guilty - Cheryl Ouano sure acted otherwise on tv. And I got to see the face of the husband Alfie who didn't seem too supportive of his wife. No eye contacts between them, no hand holding or a semblance of even just a tiny bit of affection for the wife. He should have ACTED like he really believed she's innocent and that is something very hard to do in public. To pretend is EVEN harder.

I wonder if it's true that even before this story broke out - the younger Ouano couple have not been living together as husband and wife for a long time. Maybe istoryans who are Mandauehanons may have something to contribute to this.
