i think it was announce in tomshardware last week that the BFG 7800GTX OC 512 single card Beaten the x1800xt. not to mention another NVIDIA's new monster Card Releases

this monster of a graphics chip suports two 7800 GT chips running in parallel.That means it is possible to achieve Quad SLI with four GeForce 7800 GT 256 chips and results a total of 1 GB of video memory. so if you probably have enough for four 512mb's that would be a kickass 2GB. :mrgreen:

thats what i did, never seen a regular score of 12~15K the avg reviews i saw scored 9,600~12,200 . never saw anything higher.. wanna see those 13~15k reviews.

thats not a X1800XT benchmark. its impossible for a X1800XT to get that score.. coz it only has 16pipelines and 625 core speed with 700memspeed. awa ng links imong benchmark its not even a clear benchmark and it uses a 24 pipeline card with a GDDR4, clearly thats the R520 ang X1800XT is the R500 which is *ONLY* a minor speed upgrade over the X850XT-PE, an extremely overclocked X1800XT only scores 9,900++ no where near 13K


but i could be wrong..............
