Plexi glass is the common name of acrylic.
There are laser cutters that can cut metal. Ours can cut thin metals, but we are hesitant to do so since it consumes so much laser power and drains the laser tube a lot...and we are in the acrylic cutting business, and our machine is strictly for acrylics.
and thanks Personalmgt...i never really do modding stuff, except for your case...basta anything acrylic...and yes, I am indeed very busy..hehe

    anyway, back to topic..
I have seen an actual COMCAM modded side panel..and i think ok man ang output..the new owner had me laser cut a large autobot fangrill, not sure kang kinsa to sauna..
my point is, modding is a craft, and it takes a lot of guts to hold a dremel with a cutting disk and slicing your way through sheet metal...

So yeah, how different it is?

PS: he doesnt cut metal things. i dont know if there are laser cutters that work on metals. otherwise, plasma cutting.

From what i understand the plexi cutters are around 100-250watts, laser cutters start at 5,000watts.

seriously, cutting your way through metal is not easy, and risky. one false move, and you create a mess out of someone else's expensive side panel...so even if i do have all the tools to do it, i stay away from modding.

so satisfied or not, i believe mas daghan ang satisfied sa trabaho ni comcam..
and on another craftsman's point of view, dili sayon ning trabaho-a, and it takes a lot of guts too to stand up and say "i mod PC cases"...so lets give justice to a fellow craftsman before ni magubot diri..hehehe...
but i guess negative comments are always there, and they always give you the opportunity to improve and perfect your craft..

Thanks for the comment Borj, very well said.

The reason why I placed this thread has served its purpose, because if more than 50% ang negative feedback then I have to think twice if Ill continue modding PC cases or not. I have never counted yet the comments of Mr. Jordana and Mr. Cuasito for my work. Well they are both positive as well since I modified their cases 2x to 4x already.

Special thanks to musicfreakah for referring Mr. Jordana ( a satisfied Arctech customer )

Bem, i think your doing a fine job modding computer cases, and you do it on your free time. How much more if you do this full time, and go straight to professional level.
