im not sure with HK, pero SG, sure ko.

they have 2x a year the greatest sale nila, and i mean GREAT kay 70% off jud. murag panghatag na.

i was there last 2 weeks ago, and i was surveying for a Macbook Air.

sa Ayala/SM, tag 103K siya, but sa SG it was only 89K. lol.

imagine if ma put into sale pa jud siya.

and you shop DUTY FREE. if you are a tourist, ig abot sa airport, tagaan kag 7% refund for your purchase if you spent a minimum of 100 SGD.

sulit na kaayo sa plete. nakaadto pa kag laing country. haha

and getting anywhere is verrry easy, convenient ang transpo ngadto og dali ra ka maka sweto. hehe.

    HK - disneyland, etc.
SG - Sentosa, and inside you find Universal Studios.
other attractions too like in Esplanade, katong Merlion Park and stuff.

i wanna go back for the Gmax ride. hehe. reverse bungee. lots of crazy stuff.

i like the shopping part there. hehe. not just sinina. but gadgets as well.
they have lots of shops for dedicated stuff jud. like mga sinina. kita kag authentic levis bag nga tag 600 ra, big na. and shirts nga tag 300. lol. and like one mall full of gadgets. Funan Center. lol
    nagtapok tapok ang mga store.
pag abot pa lang nimo sa airport pwede ka makakuhag mapa if you want:

    dining
    shopping
    electronics
    suroy

separate maps for each one, so getting around is easy, you already know which ones to visit.
the map is easy to read. coz singapore is small, it's unlikely nga mawala ka.
even if you are a first timer.
you can ask anybody, di ra ma worry coz they all speak english.
and even when you're in a hurry mutabang gihapon sila. hehe.
    basta.

still yet to try HK though.

but i'm more than satisfied with SG. hehe. taas lag cost of living.

Exactly my view. Both are densely populated cities, but more so in Hong Kong. I've seen the apartment units there and it's sooooo small. Arang arang na lang mga HDB units sa Singapore. And on some days, when the factories in the nearby Guandong province in China start cranking up production, the smog would blanket Hong Kong for a number of days. And, when the natives of Sumatra start burning their forests to clear land for farming, the haze would also cover the whole of Singapore and people would get various lung and throat irritations. However, to choose between these two cities as a place to work, I'd choose Singapore. bias ko kay I've lived and worked in Sg for more than a decade.

I like to travel to Hong Kong for a different reason: shopping, eating, and Disneyland...but only at the right time. Summer's a good time. It sucks when it rains.
