di ko uyon ani...mga foreigners ray makapa himos sa atong country...nya kita puhon mga pinoy alipin ra nla...hahahahaha
It doesn't feel right... Our people should be the ones to own and benefit from our natural resources. Pero what does the law say? Dili ba 50/50 and pwede nga ratio sa ownership? Correct me if I'm wrong.
I think its a product of braindrain. Smart people left Philippines for a greener pasteur. And some old foreigners is looking for a place to retire went to the Philippines to find a wife and bought a strip of land. The local wife had no choice.( It's her way to survive.) And multiply these process- and became a tidal wave to local inhabitants. No choice. Nobody will help them. This the reality. Take for example the island of Panglao, Bohol, pretty much owned by foreigners- now one of the most expensive real estate in Visayas.
Now, who would you blame? The hungry? or the ones who left Philippines? I dont blame the foreigners either.. they are just trying to survive, just like anybody else.. Filipinos had congquered America... and all the countries in the world. In fact, filipinos have big houses than whites... so I think it's fair....
Mao lagi, sige ta ug debate kay brayt... but having a debate cant solved this issue...... China can buy this country if they have to...

basin gani, the top 5 richest man in the world could buy this country, unya dabdaban heheheh.
kidding aside, pwede baya gyud mapalit ang tibook natong yuta (presumption nako lang ni).
this is a very good thread indeed. i can agree that they can own but the implementing rules and regulations should be very clear. they should only be allowed to buy in commercial areas and not in agricultural areas. The challenge really is on the regulation. Right now, the law says they cannot but there is always a work around for them - mary a pinay ang you can already buy.
one major concern that i do not agree is that our distribution of wealth, especially land is very much un-even. ang uban tawon ang ila yuta naa ra sa kaang ug nasa kuko, saon na lang mo saka man ang value sa land pero ang naa sa kaang ug kuko dili apil sa pag appraise, paet jud
i would love to marry a filipina from bohol.... so i can buy a strip of beach front property. I am not old... but still i would do it... let me know if you are the lady who happens to be from bohol and have a property for sale.. no scammers allowed.

ohhh yeah sa nag ingon nga mas maayo pay imported maka palit yuta.....
or kana mga pinoy abusado man daog daog...... mga imported maayo mo pa sweldo.....
medyo one sided raman sad na tawn oi......
dapat mo sulti sad mo mga pinoy maayo kay naa baya sad maayo niya imported mga abusado kay naa pod mga abusado.......
