got ST3500320AS and used it as my system drive. napalit ni nko last tuesday 01-27-09 from TTI main. dont have any problem so far but i noticed that bsag wala ko activity ang HDD LED kay cge lang ug siga. already informed TTI about this and since bag-o pman nko napalit they are willing to replace but same model and firmware ra ghapon . ganahan ta ko pa ilis ug model nga na manufactured ug Jan 2009 kay according to seagate wala na kuno ni issues unlike sa 12-08 nga batch.

i need some advice. kay my plan is, back-up all my files and wait until my disk die then RMA kay basin ug batch jan 2009 na ang e RMA.hehe

about sa cge siga imong hdd led (hdisk activity indicator)... are you using windows vista? or windows 7? if YES, then that's normal.... during 160gb pa akong harddisk nga sata, using windows vista 32bits, dugay au mo.undang ang hdisk activity though the cpu load is very very minimal.

win xp 32 akng os. actually, bout the HDD LED ok ra ko ana. my main concern is the issue sa HDD nato.

i think i had to update to the new firmware. windows xp suddenly got corrupted and can't be repaired. Also naay tingog (murag chirp ang sound) ang HD kung mo read cya. sometimes naa pud cya delay when accessing the drive. possible hardware problem pud. aguy.

i think so. did you ran seatools to verify your drive's health?

whats your harddisk model and firmware revision.

sir I highly recommend you take take the UPDATE as soon as possible.... i think your drive is slowly bricking

had just updated mine to SD1A na. so far la man ko nabantayan nga changes.hehe
