@alexandra_isabel: i've been hearing about UC sending students to abroad for an OJT. Can you give me details about it. I'm sure its not all expense pay by the school...what i need to know how much is it for you to be able to go to singapore for an OJT. Unsai mga inclusions sa payment and all. And kung associate lang imong kuhaon sa HRM pwede ka maka apil still sa ilang OJT sa singapore?

On December 5, 2008, USJ-R officially entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with First Place, Inc. Under the terms of the MOA, USJ-R could already send its selected Tourism and Hospitality Management students for internships in US, Europe and Australia. First Place, Inc. (FPI) will facilitate the processing, testing and evaluation of the student applicants; it will also make the necessary arrangements with the foreign companies where the students will undergo their internship or on-the-job training. FPI could also extend the same services to USJ-R graduates, faculty and staff who intend to pursue studies or trainings abroad.

USJ-R President Rev. Fr. Anthony Morillo is signing the MOA with Ms. Rose Dapul, Director of First Place, Inc. Looking on are Mr. Daryll Rodriguez, THMD Chair, and Dr. Edgar Detoya, Dean of the College of Commerce.

On the same day, after the MOA signing, FPI conducted an orientation with the students and parents who have previously expressed interest in USJ-R’s new international practicum program. With the foreign internship program, USJ-R endeavors to further enhance the exposure of its students to world-class standards and practicum.
