    i fell inlove with a cousin pud.. but we decided not to go further... we cut all our means of communications, wala mi ng kita for pila ka years... at first my cousin insist na e-tolerate nlng namo amo na feel but bsag unsaon namo ug bali2 dili jud puede kc where cousins... so far ni succeed mn pud amo gibuhat... now we're best cousins,always special though but now naa na sya gf naa pud ko ako bf .... kasabot ko sa imo case, may gani ka kay 4th degree kami first degree,, gihilakan pud to namo ang kasab-an pa ko sa ako mom but dili mn jud puede.. basin kamo puede.. also take it into consideration ang inyo baby.. kc ana sila mas dako daw ang tendency na abnormal ang baby sa lagyo na nga relatives.. but lets try to be scientific with this case.. has to do with the genes mn daw.. try nlng ug search sa internet or ask some experts that u know...

    As far as statistics are concerned, the child usually is abnormal...most familiar and common would be Down Sydrome. It has something to do with the chromosomes not matching or the lack thereof.

    Inbreeding is breeding between close relatives, whether plant or animal. If practiced repeatedly, it leads to an increase in homozygosity of a population. A higher frequency of recessive, deleterious traits in homozygous form in a population can, over time, result in inbreeding depression. This may occur when inbred individuals exhibit reduced health and fitness and lower levels of fertility.

    Results of inbreeding

    Inbreeding may result in a far higher phenotypic expression of deleterious recessive genes within a population than would normally be expected.[1] As a result, first-generation inbred individuals are more likely to show physical and health defects, including:

    * reduced fertility both in litter size and sperm viability
    * increased genetic disorders
    * fluctuating facial asymmetry
    * lower birth rate
    * higher infant mortality
    * slower growth rate
    * smaller adult size
    * loss of immune system function.

    hmmm.. seems this one gives you a little hope here

    "The percentage of consanguinity between any two individuals decreases fourfold as the most recent common ancestor recedes one generation. For example, first cousins have four times the consanguinity of second cousins. Fourth half-cousins and beyond possibly share no more DNA than any two individuals taken at random, even if there is a documented most recent common ancestor " source Cousin couple - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    to sum it up.. it's true na naa jud abnormality if close relatives ang marriage but the good thing is pag abot ug 4th degree wala na "DAW" ng share ug DNAs.. hmmmm.. correct me if im wRong... based on my research (which i know dli pa enuf) and based on my understandinG (which cud be wrong, nosebleed pud ko usahay sa ilang ininglis, hehhe!) if seryoso jud ka ask nlng anag mga experts...
