PLDT DSL Problems... (Low Bandwidth)

hahahahaha... gi ahak ani oi... ako biktima sad ko ani... My paid plan is the 2Mbps plan... grabe kusog kaayo ni siya sa una.... but lately akong gi check iyang speed dili na gani kaabot og 256Kbps.. ambot na unsa nani sila oi.. murag alkansi ko ani 3k+ raba akong gibayaran ani...

as far as i know, wala pa 2mbps plan ang dsl... up to 1mbps pa gihapon... ang problema man gud sa pldt sige lang advertise, pero wala pa diay... dili pa kaya sa ilang mga equipment ang 2mbps... ONLY some areas ra ang maka abot og 2mbps...

ang P999 a month na subscription, do not expect to get 386kbps... kay shared man na...

sa experience nako, wala man koy problema sa mydsl... naa sometimes mu hinay ang connection, but thats expected due to network congestion... kung naa ka sa office, mag dungan mo access, di ba mu hinay man jud?

im not defending pldt... im just putting some form of perspective to some common misunderstanding...

btw, your "normal" speed would be: subscribed speed * 70%... meaning 30% is expected to be lost...

low bandwidth or speed is always experienced of subs during peak hours... dont blame your service provider, whether PLDT, INNOVE (Globelines), BAYANTEL.... blame ourselves 'coz we got hook-up on promises of sales people.... they just sell and promise this and that but they dont even know the capacity of their system..... :mrgreen:

that's crap, you should get at least 80% sa imong speed that means at 384kbps, dapat at least 35kBps

For people having problems. I have been having problems myself. As far as I'm concerned, it's got to be the most serious of all.
I get lags upto 400ms on an Asian server, I get frequent low bandwidth (as low as 128kbps for my 1mbps plan), and i get frequent loss of the DSL signal so my modem.

I am already working on a letter to formalize my complaint. I believe it would be in everyone's best interest if we strike with one blow.
To those interested, please email your current problem in a form of a letter so I can hand it over to the manager together with everyone else's.
Hopefully, the letters would knock some sense into them.

ur lucky to get those speed.. my dl speed could barely go to 13kB/s plan 999 man pud ko
