You don't make sense bro, it might be helpful if you could elaborate further. Thanks. Anyway, Shinobi is a non-believer I supposed, I was just curios what he thinks is that thing that people needed to be saved from.

it's ok bro. people have different needs or personal demons that they want to be saved from. but the truth is, we made these demons. only ourselves could vanquish our inner demons. but how can we do that when we deny that they exist in us? the first thing to do is to accept our faults and then do something about it. a believer or not, we're all governed by the laws of nature. if faith helps, then so be it. if logic helps, then so be it. the truth of the matter is, only you can save your Self.
^^^Well, we both share the same belief on inner weaknesses bro, but I believe in something more. So I am sorry if I cannot accept your truth of the matter.

Yes bro I believe in God, do you believe in God too?

good for you, sir. me? i know there is God.
while faith is good, for me, it still is not sufficient enough to make things done. we, as humans, must also do our part to get the job done. and not just wait for the guava to fall from the tree because of faith. if personal salvation is the issue, it's still the same. how can anyone rely on faith alone, when obviously something can be done about it?
^^^We share same belief on that faith and good works should go together. I'm a Roman Catholic and the Roman Catholic church teaches that faith and good work should go together. But the Roman Catholic church also teaches that good work is not enough to attain salvation from ultimate punishment. So faith and good work must be present.
Well if you don't believe in God or hell or heaven, I think only good work will matter. At least you will aspire to do good while your still alive.

i'm a non-practicing catholic. i still believe in God. but not the anthropomorphic God of the bible who has tantrum-fits sometimes. sometimes he's vengeful, wrathful, jealous. sapoton ba. if he is the infinitely powerful God, don't you think he's big enough for those petty things?
I see, so your god is not vengeful? He is not wrathful? He is not jealous? So if someone do wrong to you bro, its ok for you if god will not deliver vengeful wrath to your enemy for justice sake? So your god is just ok if you worship your vices more than him because your god is not a jealous god. Anyway, these are just my presumptions about the god that you believe in. It will greatly help if you can elaborate more on the kind of god you believe in.

is it so important for God to deliver vengeful wrath to my enemy? don't you think i'm incapable of doing that myself? i don't have vices. actually, God has nothing to do with it (vices). the person doing is wholly responsible for his actions. not God. that person will reap the consequences of it. God does not need elaboration because to do so would be putting definition to His infiniteness. i don't want to do that. even the word "infinite" could not describe God. let's just leave God at that, okay?
you seem to be a good person. continue that. be a good catholic. and i'll just be a good non-practicing catholic. that way we won't clash. let's just leave our beliefs according to the way we believe them.
