Hi pinkbraces, I actually applied last year when I was still working in a company in Cebu (I'm working in Davao City now). An HR staff called me for a phone interview and then asked me to come in person for a personal interview. A day before my supposed interview, she called back to cancel because the "American guy" who will do the interview is leaving for a sudden US conference and his schedule is still vague as of that moment. She left me hanging actually. I did a follow-up but she told me we have to wait for the American guy because he's the only one who must do the interview for the position that i applied to (which I already forgot, hehehe). Anyways, it's almost a year now, I'm wondering if they're still interested, because I am. It's certainly hard to get the attention of Lexmark when it comes to hiring people, I considered myself lucky when they called, but right now... I really don't know.

I will really appreciate it if you can enlighten me regarding this matter. Thank you.

Its true, Its usually the American guy (but nt always) who does the last interview and makes the decision on who he will hire.
Before I got hired with Lexmark , I too was waiting for the other American guy to interview me for my final interview
It took about a few weeks cause we have to wait for him to arrive..

since it has been a year passed, I suggest that you resubmit your application with us (if you still want to)
and point out what position you are interested in

I got a call already yesterday for an interview.... 2nd time around for me in LRDC for two different positions. Daghan pod ko hagbong. Kutob ra ko sa final interview . I'm hoping i can make it this time around .
