Firmware Update!

v30.0.019 is already available to phones with Euro 1 product codes. I tried to update my phone but it's not available yet on APAC region.

Here are the improvements they noticed after the update:

1. ASR sensitivity is very very good. it is a bit slow but its sensitivity is how it is supposed to be. PERFECT.
2. Pictures are a little clearer now and flash also has improved.
3. Browsing through is extremely fast.
4. Music through loudspeakers is much clearer(not louder), there is no longer any distortion.
5. Music through headphones is comparable to my friends N81(Yeah tried it with many songs on the same headphones).
6. Radio reception has improved.
7. Youtube works flawlessly.
8. Startup RAM is 94.5mb.

A bug:
1. I cannot switch profile to silent by using the "hash" button.

cool! Where'd you find the download file? And how do I check for a Euro1 product code? Naka kuha naka lain N82?

1.) yup, slideshow doesn't work on tv-out, tv just blacks out once i play the slide show, maybe something wrong with my unit hehe
3.) I tried to use this format since 4mb mp3 converts to around 1mb, grabe save sa space, but naa lang jud squeaks mo tunga once in awhile sa songs, very annoying, so back to Mp3 nalng
5.) yup doesn't work, transferred it using the nokia movie manager, still looking for software that does it for this unit, n95 pretty neat

1) dont have TV sa office anymore to test it myself. maybe it was just a glitch...try again daw.

3) try using super to convert it or even itunes or other 3rd party audio converters...see if you get better results...for me im fine with mp3.

5) i tested a brand new n82...working man ang forwarding and rewind...same raman with n95.

5.) really? is that still real player applicaiton? with the N82 black or the silver? still not working with mine, stop and pause raman tsk2, what buttons are for the fast and rewind? the left and right adjusts the volume in mine while up down for pause and stop. thnx

hello! need ur help and advise about my n82 on how run the animated theme which i already installed and how to start the animator program in the ownskin folder ,inside is dat.file and its a numbers sorry am not a techke person, i really dont know how to start the animator understand ...thank 4 ur help ..

naay ownskin folder sa MENU adjust lang ang speed sa animation .. na install naman kaha nimo animated theme...

Dili pa gihapon available sa atong region ang V30 as of this time, so let's just wait for few more days.

Finally v30 is available on my product code. Updated my firmware for 25mins (depends on the speed of your internet connection).

The following are my observations:

- overall speed is slightly better
- camera speed improved (opening the camera & processing/saving of images), flash works better
- Music Player opens fast and SQ improved when listening to headphones, instruments are clearer and volume is louder
- ASR sensitivity behaves better now
- no improvement on the speed of opening the gallery
- Search menu on the standby screen occupies 2 lines, 1 line only on previous versions
- MyNokia icon added on the applications folder

I must say this is a must update for our N82.

yes stock player...built in real player app...
n82 is an n82 regardless of color...
long press up and down buttons to fast forward and rewind...
