yeah im a intel fanboi with an AMD processor...... hahaha

so in short they skip 65nm cuz they know that intel will pawn them.. thats the reason behind it. y make a processor when we cant profit from it. or our profit will be slow. ill rather skip it and hopefully the 45nm will do good.

so phenom is a no good, cuz they skip it?

i hope theyll do good with 45nm... or theyll skip it because athlonX2 is still good.. more excuses for AMD..

They didn't skip 65nm. As evident in their Brisbane cores.
AMD is not like Intels Architechture, AMD uses true quadcore for their Phenom processors that is why Phenom dual cores are not feasible and cannot or requires too much resources to be converted to dual cores. Plus AMD already have a very good performing Dual cores energy and low consumer performance wise which are the x2 5000+ BE and the like and agian they are 65nm.

Intel Quad cores are two dual cores packed together that is why they can produce dual cores with the same cores as the quad cores. Unlike AMDs Phenom.

And an avarage user doesn't know how to clock the E8600 to 6ghz. So it really doesn't makes sense in terms for the average user.

Who knows Intel might be quite for a surprise when AMD introduces the 32nm process.

and also wait until applications and games takes advantage of the full quad processors. Maybe the E8600 might be a pawn for AMD Phenoms.

All you yank about are 45nm and those stuff are the fastest. The point is there is also 32nm.
Well not necessarily the smaller the die size the faster the processors though they can just put on more cache in it and runs cooler and has more OC headroom.

i guess in my point of view.. intel own the low/middle/high range of processor.

i mean.. even the slowest C2D when OCed it becomes a rock solid processor and yet again not all of us know how to OC or use OC.

still.. cant wait for the 45nm C2D.. ROAR.

Well actually its not really a good tactic. Intel quads are really not quads but 2 dual cores slammed together. If you Compare it with a true quadcore for phenom. Then tactic wise id go for true quads.

Put it this way Its Not a good tactic for the customer to buy what is advertized as quadcore by intel. But a good tactic for Intel.

Just so happen that Phenom was a flop in performance. But value wise Id go for phenom.

Why so hyped about the 65nm phenom when it even never existed in the first place. Phenom in the first place is not that fast in performance and they already have brisbane 65nm dual cores. why convert it to dual cores.
Just one of those fake news.

procuction process is not that effecient that is why they got beaten by Intel and thats why AMD processor pricess is not able to compete enough with Intel.

45nm is already around the block.. I'm Sooo exited. and 6ghz you need watercooling for that kinda heat. And I'm sooo exited to buy 30k-40kPhp waterblock system.

i dont even know if it was watercooled for something.. i cant understand the language.. but it wouldbe impossible if it was stick cooling. ehhehe

here the good new for AMD fanboi.. as we know AMD was losing money. but i guess they are now back in track with ATI doing fine..

In your statements put a bit more sense to it.

Me personally I dont think the AMD 45nms are gonna beat Intels. But I makes them more competitive when they drop their prices like half of Intels. Specially the Phenoms.

Also another thing next year we should see more apps and games taking advantage of quad cores. So the E8600 will be short lived.

Yeah wasn't reading the article enough. it was not credible for me.

And it really doen't matter what the news says because this will not turn the performance crown back to AMD. As you can see this will only benefit AMDs market share which are the servers market.

So big deal with those news.
