boz, since macro kay high magnification, you need dof.. so usually: f/8 - f/16, some even venture to f/22... flash for lighting kay the closer you are to the subject, the lesser light (ambient) comes in, shutter speed, i usually just put it at the max speed sync...

auto focus is turned off, atras abante using the body/head ang strategy.

mao na ang usual nko na buhaton, YMMV.

for me lang. shooting macro does not have a specific which angle you take with reference with the natural source of light since our light source should come from the flash, depending on what type of flash you use. Shooting so close to the subject i think eliminates the use of the natural light source so you must depend on your flash.

Lain man pud kaayo mo shoot ka ug silhouette sa imong subject na insect dba?

The angle you should reference too is from your subject it self ky dli man nimo ma tudlo-an imong subject na ari diri atubang or mao ni kinahanglan imo position. That's a challenge in shooting macro pud.

For this particular shot I used a Tamron 90mm Macro with Extension Tubes. I also use a Canon MP-E65 Macro Lens with MT-24EX Twin Flash.
