before we conclude that God is immoral because it's how we see Him through Biblical narratives esp in the OT..
we must ask ourselves, how much do we know about morality?
can we quantify God's thoughts?
do we know the absolute reasons and results of God's acts?

say for example the people that died in the Genesis flood,
suppose Death would have been the only indulgence those people might have..
meaning only through Death that those poor souls might have a chance for salvation?
esp that OT times hasn't reached the messianic age yet..
can we be certain that God's act in the days of Noah is immoral in absolute terms?

by just looking at the cross, without the undrstanding of messianic and salvic works of Christ, the atonement for sins..anyone can question why would a loving God allow such things to happen to His only begotten Son.

remember when Peter said He would not allow Jesus to see death?
then Jesus rebuked Peter for saying such things? Jesus even called peter satan(adversary).. for thinking thoughts of men rather than of God..
Peter was of course just concern..genuinely concern if may add..
but it doesn't necessarily mean he was right in absolute terms..
for If God's moral perspectives would have the same with ours..
Jesus wouldn't have died on the cross..and we would never have had the chance of salvation..
point is, the moral perspectives of God and man are eternally distant..
so why conclude God's moral standards using our human perspectives when we can never really arrive at a definite conclusion?

one proof that God's will is always good and by good, it doesn't necessarily have to be based from our perspective of good..would be through the struggles and challenges that we have to face in this lifetime..
with our human eyes..we can ask, why would a loving God allow this?
we wouldn't have definite answers but we know this for sure..
if not for the hardships, struggles and pains..we wouldn't have known maturity, patience and this life's hardest and toughest lessons.

when we say God is this or that..it would be like concluding the world is just as big as far as the eyes could see.. the basis would be realistic but not necessarily correct.

so i'm not entirely sure if we should still pursue this..

bisa'g unsa pa imong isulti bay noy, the fact did not change that we will still burn in hell if we commit sins to warrant such punishment.. call it salvation or a moral thing to do according to your god, but bottomline is people will still suffer in eternal fire...
