I see these kinds of threads in every other forum I go to. Simply put, if Kobe was up against something like the "Jordan Rules", he would definitely weep. For a week. As demonstrated in the 2010 NBA Finals: Kobe can't even get past Tony Allen!

Now, before all you Kobe lovers get all butt-hurt, I suggest you go on to YouTube and do a simple search on "Detroit Pistons and the Jordan Rules". That is one brutal defense for just one man.

The rules were changed the minute Stern and top NBA officials noticed no one player was willing to go thru a team's defense like Jordan did bahalag pila pa na kabuok ga-atang diha. i agree with you.. stop comparing them they are not even on the same era. Compare MJ to malone,etc. and compare kobe to lebron! end of story
