    Default Searching for graphic artist

I'm searching for a Cebu graphic artist to help with the layout of my illustrated book.
I've written the text, and the drawings are being done by a Manila-based artist. I have laid out the pages in Adobe InDesign, but unfortunately I have zero artistic talent so the page layout "sucks". I need somebody to either:
    1. Re-do the layouts, improving the page flow and adding some additional graphic elements (simple shapes, shading, text boxes etc.)
    OR
    2. Show me how to do it.
The book is online here if you wanna see what I'm talking about. The "Read" page has the most current layouts (look at Chapters 1 thru 15):

Heads-up: New Marvel graphic novels at Booksale (more at Robinsons, a few at SM)

    Got myself

New Mutants Forever pencils by Al Rio
Ultimate Iron Man II pencils by Pasqual Ferry
Hulk the End pencils by George Perez and Dale Keown
Fantastic Four: The Master of Doom by Bryan Hitch

The first three are P 340 each and the last P 400. I wasn't familiar with the artists of the other graphic novels.

@zerk: Sorry for the very delayed reply. Parkmall's too far to hunt for graphic novels. I just usually visit Robinsons because it's just a jeepney ride away. I've gotten myself a few more after those listed above (or is it below). So far I was lucky to get Iron Man: Extremis illustrated by Granov. His artwork is beautiful but it lacks, hmm, how should I say, 'action'. It's like looking at movie stills. I'm not artist so what do I know eh. I also got Wolverine: Enemy of the State drawn by Romita Jr. Now John's (not Amor's, he he) art is more to my liking. It's more fluid, dynamic. Not manga-ish fluid but good enough.

Naa pa uban pero di nako familiar sa mga bagong artists. I saw Ultimate Doomsday but the art seems Lynil Yu-ish.

@mangtas: Depressing man Hulk The End. Although it's not the Hulk's fault that the world ended (World War 3 I think), it's so sad to see that he is the only sentient left and no alien culture wants him. Bruce Banner died of a heart attack so the Hulk cannot revert back to human form and he can no longer have a dialog with Bruce. Good thing it's just a what-if story though. The one with the Maestro on the other hand is kick azz. Hulk Past vs. Hulk Future. And the Hulk Future is horny.

Dili napud ko kaayo visit diri kay I have nothing to contribute to the community. Sometimes I just share heads-up kung naa makit-an barato na graphic novels sa BookSale.

Nawala pa dyud SUEDE kay naa na sa Singapore. Anyway, I think strong pa man community it's just that it's very niche. Naunhan pa sa cosplayers in terms of popularity but then again that's no surprise considering cosplaying is more visible.

In case you're curious as to what I'm busy with, I paint miniatures. Not that good yet. See some of my works here: https://www.istorya.net/forums/showthread.php?p=12736033

Just go back a few posts. I think I'm the only noisy one in that thread. The rests probably don't care about sharing photos, they just paint and play or they post in international forums like DakkaDakka or CoolMiniOrNot.

And oh, I forgot to share that Debbie's artwork has vastly improved. She was a bit shy during the last ComicCon Cebu but she showed me some of her artwork. I think she's now in Australia studying animation. Not sure though.

Debbie illustrated a book titled, Edgar’s Moon. Her FB page shows some of her artwork but based on what she shared with me via her iPad, she didn't upload everything.
