flyovers and road-widening is just a small thing.

what we need here is the approval of "CEBU BUS RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEM" a.k.a. BRT

If you look at the history of the US, they have lots of flyovers before, but one day they realize that businesses are affected by it, And it gives bad cosmetics to the city. So they "Destroyed most of the flyovers"

MRT!! Cebu MRT and BRTs, underground trains. But that needs lots and lots of budget. More training for traffic policemen (but it's too dangerous man for the people so I'd rather spend the budget for more infrastructure like flyovers than pay for people to be trained policemen).

Mass transportation from North to South, regulating and limiting privately owned utility vehicles like PUJ, Buses, V-hire and Taxi.

Again create a mass transportation that would entice public to go for mass transportation vehicle instead of owner type and creating more access roads.

For downtown areas or areas that has heavy activity number coding or limiting private vehicle should be imposed but the government must set-up a good mass transport system.

Clear the sidewalks, more landmarks, clean the streets, allocate adequate space for sidewalks and bicycle lanes and of course the public deserves clean air free from smoke belching. I think this will encourage public to walk or ride there bicycle on any given day or occasion.

Road widening is not a good solution same with flyover, I think enforcing the law and crafting a law that is for people is not that costly.

Example laning Talisay, Sangi road.

Naay PUJ, Taxi, Tricycle, Trisikad ug mga owner type vehicle then wala pa gyud sidewalks. Grabeh ka irresponsable ang government official sa talisay ug urban planner nila.

good point sab ni... mao jud ni dakung pagkuwang sa atong pang gobyerno kay sa mga major cities ra jud i focus ang development labi na sa manila...

i decentralized jud unta, proper urban planning... kay wah jud, mag huot jud sa mga major cities... ang cebu, soon to be manila nasad ni nga samok nasad kaayo kung wah juy klaro ang urban planning...
