Chapter XVII
Dili na jud ko. We have the right love at right time, but maybe, we have each other wrongfully I guess by that time. Dili na nako mabang-bang iya kasaputon.
She was about to walk-away and go back to the city when we were about to submit all the wedding requirements to St. Alexandria Church in Carcar. I waited for almost an hour in the convent, waiting for her to come back. But she never did. She never came back.
To be continued..
Naghu-ot pa akong dughan. Moginhawa sa ko ha.

Chapter XXVIII
And I waited. And she never came back.
I went downhill so that I can go back to the city, bringing along the wedding requirements. My shoulders were very heavy and I can't barely breath because I was experiencing the most painful feeling that time.
I passed along the covered gym and I was looking back at the church. Shall I wait for her to go back?
I know she was firm on leaving me. I was that kinda stupid thinking of it.
When i was about to go accross the other side of the street fronting the church, I saw my girl standing in the corner of the street. She was looking at me fiercely.
A city-bound Ceres passed and I forgot to "para" (wa ko kahibalo ingles sa para). I just can't make a para sign. Maybe I'm still hopeful that we can continue the pre-wedding procedure.
And I glimpse at her, she still looked at me angrily. But I was worried for the baby inside her womb. I don't want her to feel upset. So, I went nearer to her and pretend that there's nothing wrong. Tig-a gyud ko ug kasing-kasing kay lalaki gud ko.
Around 3.6 meters away from her, tears came drifting in her eyes. And she told me, "Wa gyud ko nimo sunda.."
And wrapped her with a tight hug. I held her hands and we went back to the convent.
To be continued...
