Guys ... it is important first to know what really is METROSEXUAL and HOMOSEXUAL in its defintionsÂ* before giving out opinions . Obviously METROSEXUALS are not GAY people by defintion.

yup i agree with you.... metrosexuals are not gay it is very clear that they are "metrosexuals" not "homosexuals"... i know a person who said he was metrosexual even though he was gay... it was just so he could hide the fact that he is a homosexual!!! well i just think that if people think metrosexuals are gay than you are looking at the stereotypical point of view.... come on, where in the year 2006 don't you think we should stop being stereotypic we shouldn't judge.... we all have the right to choose.... plus i'm not a metrosexual hehehehe

I agree! for those who don't know what metrosexual means, try consulting merriam-websters! not all gays are metroxeuals! metrosexuals are the ones who take extra care with themselves. vain in short.

British author Mark Simpson coined that word in his "The Independent". It was supposed to point you to the direction of men who have a good fashion or just a strong sense of style.

Too often has it been confused with the word homosexual, understandably because gay people are more fashion-inclined than the regular male.

i was about to say metrosexualism doesn't necessarily make a person gay, but that it is a "gay" thing to be. but after thinking about David Beckham, there were second thoughts.. he is certainly very stylish and might be placed under that category. but i could not associate gay with him somehow.

yup... zerone usually the gay guy is fashion-inclined.... but what if straight guys were too?? that's why they are metrosexuals
