Second, Being an advocate doesn't mean you have to tolerate immorality, and speak in behalf of the gay community even if you know that an action that was specifically done on purpose would more likely only cause discrimination in the society. It's all about self respect. Provocative ads (if you call it that) such as the said billboard is a perfect example of moral degradation and could definitely be a reason for the youth to degenerate .

This was never a gay rights issue. This is just one of those decisions that one group agrees while the other group doesn't.
The Cebu City Anti- Indecency Board was just doing their job as stated on their mandate. (are we really against people doing their jobs?)
However, why we have a Cebu City Anti-Indecency Board is beyond me!!
How do they qualify what is decent and what is not?
Was it indecent because it was suggestive? Or was it taken down because it was suggestive AND it starred a well-known member of the third ***?
How do you really objectively measure decency?

I could find a billboard of Ellen Adarna lying provocatively, whilst half-naked very indecent (i really don't).
Should I ask the City to take it down?
And why do we even bother with those billboards when we have a more far-reaching social media evil that nobody can control.

The Anti-Indecency board is fighting a battle that they've already lost.
