Guys ... mas cheaper sa Philippines mo upgrade and fix a car as a project car . It may have a lesser variety of aftermarker parts compared to the US but heck the Philippines got more access on parts the US can only dream of like JDM engines and all kinds of parts .

Yes a BMW is expensive to fix to become faster but not that expensive to kick a CIvics ass and smoke the pocket rocket just like that . An upgrade like the DInan chip on all 3 series Beemers can easily give you 30 WHP and the Dinan chip is not that expensive .

The CIVIC HATCH will be around for a long time because of reasons :

- light weight
- easy to acquire
- easy to tune
- has lots of motors compatible of
- been proven by time if tuned properly , it is a drag car to reckone with


It is nice to see other cars race in the drag strip like the Skylines , Silvias , EVO's , WRX's , Supra's etc but for the reasons why we dont :

- expensive
- rare
- not much knowledge on tuning
- parts are rare , most of the time kay fabrication na langw/c makes it mor expensive


This is only based in the Philippines though . In the US , the hatch also dominated for a long time . They were the crowd favorites , big dogs etc but because of availability and know how of tuning on other cars emerged , nasapawan ang Civic . Not to mention SPONSORS LELS .... that the Philippines is struggling to have one .

theres no definite date yet on wen ang race sa cebu...they said maybe in august naa....lisod man gud i kuha daw ug permit to use the SRP. but theres a race track being built in tayud...its a professional drag race track na jud...so finally cebu has 1 soon.
