    This is very worrying.... It could be part of an Al Qaeda campaign. My sister is scheduled to run in the upcoming London marathon, she narrowly avoided being hurt on her honeymoon during the 2005 Bali bombings. How the hell do we stop these lunatics?

    IEDs can contain any element of explosives, an explosive is classified as an IED based on whether it is makeshift/homemade, not by its composition (unless it uses military materials such as C-4 or other plastic explosives).
    this photo shows a lot of white smoke.. yes.. black powder is highly suspect.
