@carlo borromeo:
thanks for the info. i'm not really a batman comic book fan but a batman movie so i don't have his background.
i have read a lot of x-men, though.
regarding tom wilkinson - you're right! what the h3ll was he doing there? i like him in some comedies but a gangster boss in batman? - he just wasn't right!
Great movie... 9/10
I was particularly impressed by the Batmobile, according to Roger Ebert, a Humvee's wet dream.
Check out this article.

There are actually 8 different "versions" of the Batmobile, and it is a real car, which costs $ 250,000 each to make.

i saw it yesterday, alone at cinema 3 ayala. the movie's the first to take the whole story in a serious way, compared to the previous movies which had a comical take on the plot. definitely a must-see. by the way, i find that guy playing the role of scarecrow (dr. crane) cute. hehehe... i'll give this movie an 8/10.![]()
ok, just made some research. i now know what the guy's name is (the guy who played dr. crane/scarecrow). his name is CILLIAM MURPHY. bantog ra familiar iya face. i saw one of his ovies pala. the movie was called 28 days later. he was fit for the role.
i've watched the movie... nyc movie d naman boring![]()
While Batman Begins took out the power ranger look in the previous movies, IMHO the Batsuit didn't fit Bale that well. Christian Bale was a good Bruce Wayne but Michael Keaton was a better Batman.
And the Bat Mobile didn't impress me.
The Bat Mobile should be sleek, curvy and not some tank-looking thing.
The original Alfred did more justice to the role that Michael Caine. Comm. Gordon was perfect.
....
Isn't Mark Hamill too short to play Joker?
I guess they wanted to stress practicality that's why the tumbler batmobile was designed that way. Much easier cos he can climb through other cars by running over the trunk.
Michael Caine didn't pronounce his words very well. But the Alfred and Bruce relationship in the script - they got it down perfectly, IMHO.
Mark Hamill doesn't have the physique or the face to play the joker unless i-dub nila iyang voice for another actor. Bitaw wala man siya angay!
Of course, Gary Oldman na gud. hehe BUOTAN siya and we should see this man in more "good guy" roles. He's proven enough that he can play frighteningly evil villains in the past. karon let's see him mag binu-otan na sad.Comm. Gordon was perfect.
IMO, the Batmobile was designed in that rather "crude" manner, to stress that the vehicle was in "beta" mode; under refinement and definitely having more room for improvement.
