faster shutting down? .. i don't think so.. same lang sila sa windows 7.. mas dali pa gani ang windows 7 mo-shut down.. bsta imu windows 7 naa xay latest updates from microsoft.. try ko gamit sa windows 8.. paspas xa mo-shut down but ang monitor lang.. but the whole system dli.. shut down sa windows 8 is only ang display.. if u try to observe display ra jud ang dali mo-off.. abtan pa ug pila ka seconds aya ma-sultin nmu nga shut down na jd siya.. faster boot up.. paspas jd ang windows 8 than windows 7.. but nibalik ko ug windows 7 kay akong mga software d pa mogana sa windows 8.. though mogana ang uban.. but ang uban d pa.. i'll stay with windows 7 .. for me windows 7 is the best.. anyway, i'll wait for the next OS, windows blue/... i dont think if its applicabale sa laptop or desktop to.. paabot lang ko.. windows 8 is good.. but windows 7 is the best..

for me, it's Win 8... i'm using the Enterprise Edition right now on my mini-ITX rig... i like it more if compared to Win 7 w/c is the OS of my gaming rig and my notebook PC...

at 1st, mura'g nag lisod ko ug gamay sa WIn 8 kay naa man gamay kalahi-an from Win 7 labi na if mag utingkay na ta's OS pero, i got used to it in no time... in less than 5 mins of actual Win 8 hands-on... i feel in love w/ this OS... ayayayay... whapakkk...
