I think this doesn't guarantee nga certified software engineer or any I.T. positions naka if you pass this exam.
As the saying goes...
Education comes not from books but from practical experience.

ask ko unsa kalainan sa PHIL-IT ug CEDFIT nga exam ako na take kay CEDFIT? nya la ramn gamit nako pinugsanay mn sd to kay if dle mo exam dle mo grad waaaa...
Really? However, not all fresh grads would easily get an I.T. jobs eventhough they will get this said certification. Besides, daghan ug kompetensya ang I.T. ron and most companies hire applicants not in their certifiications but on their field of experience.
PS
Mag unsa ma ng entry-level professional certification or any I.T. certifications passer if dili sya kabalo muhimo ug software or program?
Certification is an added differentiator when employers have two candidates who have a similar skills base.
But there are times when someone with good hands-on experience may not necessarily be considered because they don't have the certification.
Likewise, someone with the certification, but without hands-on experience, won't be considered either.
@Mabix, same ra man cguro ang CEDFIT/PhilIT-GCE nga exam. i remember before, 2 months after i graduated, ni take ko ani. ang cedfit ang nag initiate sa exam. PhilIT-GCE ang name.
lisod2x ang first exam (2007). daghan hagbong ato. hehe.
nice bya naay certification, it's an added boost sa imong confidence level. besides, it's being recognized man sa IT Companies diri sa cebu.![]()
wala ko sure anang philit-gce kay wala pa ko ka.take ana. nya murag dili na pud ko mu.take ana. pero mas lisud pasaron ang jitse kaysa philnits. kay if hagbong ka sa usa ka exam, take jud ka balik sa duha sa sunod nimo nga take sa exam.. karong murag dali nalang kay usa naman lang imong kuhaon if usa ra imong nahagbongan..
