if that line was intended to be a joke, then it's not funny for me... it's very degrading to filipino doctors... the writers and producers should have known better that this is a form of racism already... why would they belittle doctors who studied in the Philippines when some of the best doctors in here are in fact filipinos and fil-ams... this is really sad...

Im in the medical field and that comment is very insulting, as well as embarrassing. But we have to face the truth...our educational system is way below the standard. Asian countries conducted a survey before about the educational system of the Asia and our number one school is UP Diliman....ranked only 75th is ASIA. How much more if the survey includes the world?

Instead of taking it in a negative way, wh don't we do something about it? Let's face it : even if we are summa cumlaude here, our knowledge is lacking if we compete worldwide.

Let's get over it. They obviously don't know what they're saying considering that MOST of their doctors are Filipinos.

i don't find that dialogue funny, it's lame...

BUT to give people some perspective... ang character ni Teri Hatcher sa show kay inherently stupid and ignorant... nganong ma-insulto man mo sa character na mabaw og paglantaw sa iyang palibot IN GENERAL and not just Filipinos in particular?

to give people here another perspective on how OUR media is just as guilty of these lame attempts at humor, are we supposed to laugh at regional stereotypes? think about this, how a lot of our local shows from tv and movies make fun of accents, looks and intelligence of people who are not from Manila or from a major city...

because IMO, mas insulting para nako ang mga ingon ana nga jokes because... ingon ana na lang gyud ka ubos ang paglantaw nato sa mga probinsyano (who happen to be OUR OWN COUNTRYMEN) nga dapat makatawa ta sa ilang stereotype? besides a lot of these stereotypes are hardly true...
