i went to the first part of the bridge ,,jumped into the next bridge to the end of that no icarus waiting ,,,,he seems to be under the bridge flapping its wings , nothing happens, is icarus supposed to come out ?? pirate man gud ni ako,, but alot of people seem to have the same problem as me.,,,,,,,the next otherside of the bridge is far far far far away,,,,

^The moment your @ the end of the broken bridge, a cut scene will follow were you & Icarus wrestling & beating each other while in free fall drop. Then you have follow on-screen buttons to press. If you will succeed - you'll be rewarded w/ the Wings of Icarus. Then you have work you way to the top & convince the Mighty Titan Atlas that you are w/ them...& then he will reward you w/ a earthquake shaterring special ability to crush your adversaries.

That's a problem on your ps2 since that part reads the second layer of the disc. Remember GoW2 is a DVD9.
Also, you already pointed out that you're using a pirated version so that's why your ps2 didn't or cannot read
the second layer of the disc.

There are many version releases out there of GoW2 (i'm talking pirate here)
a. the dvd9 (dual-layered) version (all things fully intact nothing ripped)
b. the dvd5 (single-layered) version (videos are downsampled to the max, in which it resulted a crappy movie
quality which s*cks as i've already seen the difference of the downsampled one and the full version)
c. the 2 discs version (you saved at the great chasm on disc one, then start the second disc when you
load the great chasm again)

by the way, there is supposed to be a cutscene at the place where you're stucked up.
a cutscene between icarus and kratos.

the first release (original dvd9) has the same problem as some had already reported it though they have
already replaced it with another copy and it works. Remember this is just only on the original version of the
game not the pirated.

So my suggestions if you're still looking for a pirated copy
try the dvd5 or the 2 disc version. That should help your ps2
read the 2nd part of the game. It's probably on your modchip
that's why you're having a problem. Anyway, good luck!

well that pretty much sums up all my problems. im using pirated copy dvd 9 version using slim type ps2.thanks everyone! gota find a dvd5 or 2 copy version.
