    @nhadz: They have TESDA NCIV Programming. A two day exams on Procedural and OOP. I just wandered why their OOP exams can be use with VB6 at a minimum programming language. The database itself is MS Access. In the exams you'll be ask to connect to the MS Access and make query, insert, delete, and update. You will need to have two programming language when you take the exams. Besides hands-on programming, you'll be interviewed by the assessor about your understanding all about programming and flow charting.

    @nhadz:

    I suggest to enroll at Call Center Academy, they offer FREE Java programming. Just bring resume and a 2x2 picture (not sure how many).

    The training starts from the scratch (Hello World) to most advanced topic in core Java (creating UI and JDBC-connecting to MySQL database). It also include web development in Java JSP/Servlets, EJB and J2EE for 240hrs.

    Grab this opportunity while it is FREE. CCA is an accredited school of TESDA that offers programming subjects.

    you have less chances of being accepted compared to applicants who have completed a degree especially a degree in IT or Computer Science/Engineering.

    besides most companies require an education related to the vacancy. although there are a few companies who doesn't require a suitable education.

    I am not a CS/IT/Comp E graduate. I am not even working fulltime in IT right now. But I'm earning more from doing freelance development stuff.
