Chapter V

A week before Holy Week 2001, I forgot the date. She made it official, we broke up.

I waited for her to say it first. In my entire life, I never felt amazing as that. More like free as a bird. It was hurting but it made me smile right after.

I am not a perfect boy friend material. Maybe she liked cars, movie stars and chocolate bars. Lucky for me it didn't take that long to heal the scars. I enjoyed my summer that period.
