Did the Great Flood during the time of Noah really happen?

its logical to build in the mountain, coz anyway the earth will be sinked by water/flood so noah don't need to carry/transfer the woods from the mountain or forrest.

In first glance it seems its possible.
But no need for noah to travel in america and europe to spread the warning because civilization doesn't reached there. And God punished the entire civilization or mankind not a certain place.

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Genesis 6:13.
And on that time earth has only one language and few.

Ang asawa ni Cain kay iya ra pud igsoon. The bible didn't named the female or daughters of adan and eve.
Cain and Abel was named because it represents two types of son, an obedient and disobedient son.

Eve has daughters, And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. Genesis 3:20

The generation of man was traced in male, that's why only male children of Adam and Eve were named.
The wife of Cain was his sister because there's no other human except the children of Adam and Eve.

then earth here is the land where noah live not the entire planet... kng baga ang barangay ra ni noah ang naigo sa baha wla'y labot ang amoa. who knows there is an existing civilization parallel to noah's during those times wla lang na record... dba less man ayo ang recorded history sa new world(Amerika) kay lisod ilabang sa ubang taw ani nga lugar kay dako kaayo ang pacific hehehe, but we know that civilizations do exist there.

OT: can you give us a specific timeline when this distruction of the Tower of Babel happened? I don't know if this Tower of Babel the same tower the Babylonians built... if this is the case then there was already a separate civilization parallel to that of the Babylonians on the otherside of the world... sa laktod nga pagkasulti pag great flood or before nahitabo ang great flood naa nay mga taw nga nakalabang sa pikas bahin sa atong earth mga taw nga wala na apil sa baha.
