the movie is actually loosely-based on director Cameron Crowe's own life experiences.. He did write for Rolling Stone at a very young age... The guitar guy in real life was Peter Frampton, and Cameron Crowe did tour with his band.. Story went around that Peter Frampton had an affair with this beautiful woman that either eric clapton or george harrison also fell in love with... bizarre love triangle.. i'm not sure with the eric clapton/george harrison bit but i kinda heard fr somebody.. don't quote me on it.. heheh..

Almost Famous...the greatest groupie movie ever(written & directed by the man who brought you Jerry Maguire)...sa salida..ilang gi-define ang kalahian sa band-aid ug sa "groupie" which was depicted in a brutally honest & fair way...this movie also boasts of its killer OST. i used to hate Elton John but after hearing his "Tiny Dancer" i fell in love with the guy(pun intended).

the bass player for STILL WATER was played by MARK KOZELEK of 4AD-based act RED HOUSE PAINTERS....he also had another appearance at the CAMERON CROWE film VANILLA SKY.....
