most women who got involved w/ a foreigner has been stereotyped bcoz of what most people had labeled them...tinuod ilang gisulti di tah ka generalize sa tanan kay ang uban tinuoray ilahang na feel towards their partner...pero di ko mo agree anang mga babaye nga mangita ug foreigner for a better lyf but its their lyf & decisions so they choose their path of sacrifices of being happy or misery...

I am married to an AMERICAN. And no I did not marry him to come to the US. Before I met him I already travelled to 18 countries and have been to America more than 5 times. I also did not marry him for financial reasons because I left a very high paying job in another country. I also did not marry him to better off my life...because I was earning more than him.

*shaking head* ...generalizations...prejudices....judgmental characters....woe to you who think you are above others!

hmmm... different reasons for different folks man ni uy.
One of them could be:

Wala na jud makit-an na laing Pinoy ang girl. And would prefer foreigners coz they are more open-minded with regards to beauty. Mostly (dili tanan), ang mga laki diri sa Pilipinas kay pili-an man kaayo. Ganahan og gwapa, sexy, puti, mestiza, this & that... etc etc... mura raba jud og gwapo pud sila. Tambok pud raba ng uban and wala pud angay. i mean, hilas lang sila kaayo. No offense, guys. Dili bitaw tanan. But that's one of my observations.

So (human nature..) the common/average/simple/plain Pinay would look for someone who would appreciate her as she is. Someone who would call her beautiful even if pirat siya'g ilong, itom or whatever. And sad to say, only foreigners find the real beauty of real Pinays. Â*

as far as I know na hundred of filipinas married foreigner every year and most of them dagko silag agwat sa ilang bana which is, kung pinoy to pinay pana, pinay maminyo ug pinoy na tag 50 na tapos pinay kay tag 20 pa, rare ra kaayo sa atong culture tungod maulaw ta.
Wala man dautan maminyog foreigner. Sa Virginia, naa to one time na ang pinay 24 pa Â*iyang bana, 65 na tapos naa gyud discrimination, then ang nakapait pa gyud, filipino ra gyapon ang mo discriminate nimo.
Mga pinoy na naa na ngari sa states daan, it's rare na makig mingle sila sa mga pinay na naminyo ug foreigner, usually filipina na naminyo ug foreigner adto rasad na sila makig mingle sa pinay rasad na naminyo ug foreigner kay as far I as know, mga pinoy na dugay na ngari plastik ug tagad sa mga pinay na married to kano.

But according to Imigration services, fiancee visa daw kinadaghanan ug file every year....second is marriage visa then immigrant.

ang kuyaw ani ug mahutdanÂ* ming mga pinoy ugÂ* pinay! Kulba na!
