both channels has its own agenda in treating their talents - both channels are bias - as long they can get something in return, they will do anything and everything.

if cris resides in GMA - GMA should have been the biggest promoter of ninoy.

martin was/is a great artist/singer/composer/lyrist/actor + big mounth etc - he is the concert king for God sake. if you haven't seen his concern then you should at least see 1, then make a comment.

charice and arnel - both had 15 minutes of fame in the US but after that it's up to their promoters. true charice at a young age received an international fame and even featured on oprah. arnel - then a streetboy - now lead vocal of journey. amazing how filipino became known, in 15 minutes of fame. again it's up to us to support them or their being well-known will become a memory in a short span of time.

martin did not mention any names - if the 3 of them will have a concert in vegas same time different hotels there's a chance that goers might be devided - this is where age and genre factors will play.

no doubt charice has a great voice (the reason she became youtube sensation) - but she's not the only one who has it, there are thousands of young talents here in north and south americas, and even in mexico. she became fame because of youtube hits and since she's from an exotic and tiny island of the philippines she was featured and given a break on oprah. oprah is a thriving political show, period.

charice can not be compared to martin - martin has been singing, composing and making hits while she was still in her mothers womb - who can't forget "Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin". martin is the epitome of philippine ballad music, period.

lastly, martin should have not mentioned that in national tv. i think he took the bait.
